What is WebLIMS ?

WebLIMS is a new generation Library Management Software Solution using latest Internet technologies for Library Automation within your Intranet or LAN. • Multilingual Support - The product supports multiple languages for book titles, currently capable of handling English, French, German, Japanese and 15 Indian Languages, with a feature to add any new language. This is an ideal package for any library that wants to get their library computerized / web enabled in a shortest possible time.
• Control and Manage Catalogues – Effectively capture and manage the various articles into your Library and monitor their status from time to time. This feature has a set of simple-to-use and easy to understand control data modules, which are the core requirements for any Library to get automated.
• Circulation – Issues & Receipts – This module is meant for handling issue & receipts of Books, Magazines, Journals and Newspapers etc. to the members of the library. It has in-built MIS requirements for tracking the books, magazines, journals and other articles issued to members.
• Reservation – To make a request/reserve an already issued item, so that as soon as the book comes back into the library, it can be issued to the person who needs it.
• Search – To search for any book, magazine, Journal, member etc. This is a Comprehensive search, supporting search items by Name/Title, Author/Owner, Publisher/Manufacturer, issue Status. Once this is implemented across an Intranet, it supports search of the Item across all the installations of Web-LIMS in the same Intranet.
• Reports – A comprehensive MIS sub-module, this provides almost all the reports that are required in a Typical Corporate Library.
• Administration – The Administration module is for the administrative functions like User Creation / Deletion / Management, Changing of password.
