Introduction
The Logicsoft’s solution for traceability is an integrated monitoring software, covering all stakeholders in the supply chain, with a centralized database.
Logicsoft has designed TraceNet as an internet based traceability software system, upto the farm level and include components to put in place an end-to-end system for monitoring pesticide residue, achieve product standardization through Agmark and Phyto-sanitary certification and facilitate tracing back from retail shelves to the farm of the Indian grower, through the various stages of sampling, testing, certification and packing.
As part of the overall traceability of fresh produce in India, this solution has been successfully used by the farms producing Grapes over last two seasons. In the similar way Pomegranate, Mango and other key fresh produce and organic products are going to be part of this traceability solution framework.
Trace Net is a solution developed on Microsoft technology. It is built on combination of Microsoft's IIS, SQL Server and middleware technologies. It is also having the GS1’s EAN compliant standardization for bar code tracker implementation.
The solution is supported by an effective backend CRM system to empower all stakeholders in collaborating with each other for resolving the concerns being faced by them and in taking the products to the end users of the fresh produce from India across the globe.

Codex Alimentarius Commission defines Traceability as “the ability to follow the movement of a food through specified stage(s) of production, processing and distribution.
Traceability should provide a verifiable documentation for an effective food control system and should aim at limiting the discontinuity of the information through the food supply chain.
